Hedera Foundation, in collaboration with Accenture and EQTY Lab, announced plans for a strategic integration aimed at delivering transparent, tamper-proof oversight for artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI systems deployed in the public sector.
This agreement will introduce a solution that will help governments and public sector organizations manage AI-driven decisions with transparency, auditability, and trust by leveraging EQTY Lab’s Verifiable Compute and the Hedera network. Hedera Takes Capitol Hill
This month, leaders from the Hedera ecosystem convened in Washington, D.C. with policymakers and experts for a day of meaningful dialogue on blockchain innovation and public policy.
The day began with opening remarks from Hedera Council Board Chair Bill Miller and Representative Jeff Crank, setting the stage for a forward-thinking agenda. The Atlantic Council delivered a strategic overview of global CBDC projects, followed by a bipartisan conversation featuring Representatives Young Kim and Gabe Amo. Moderated by Hedera Chief Policy Officer Nilmini Rubin, the discussion explored real-world blockchain applications and the need for responsible, enterprise-grade innovation, further reinforced by perspectives from Charles Adkins of the Hedera Foundation and Mance Harmon of the Hedera Council.
The day concluded with a working lunch looking at the convergence of AI and DLT, led by Hedera Co-Founder Dr. Leemon Baird, alongside representatives from the Milken Institute and the Institute of International Finance.

During a co-hosted evening reception ‘Sips and Standards” with GBBC, held at the iconic Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, policy and technology leaders gathered to network and discuss important issues shaping the future digital asset economy.
